About editing

Hey Lorak. I noticed that you're the primary contributor to the LoTS section, so I wanted to touch base with you before I started anything. I'm an (inactive) admin on Wikipedia, so I know my way around MediaWiki, and I play LoTS on Kongregate. I'd like to help fill out and update the LoTS Wiki. Are there any special rules or guidelines to keep in mind, or should I just dive in and you can give me feedback as necessary? TomTheHand 16:51, 14 June 2012 (CDT)

Right now i'd say the only guidelines are to use the existing templates (seen by editing any similar page i.e a main hand weapon) and update the details, all of the item info can be pulled into the category pages dynamicly, images are to be in .png and 128px max, and not to remove the LotS/Paypal template from any page. Seems good, the card template was just very basic and will take a bit of time to get setup like LoTS, was mostly getting it in place so I could setup varpull card rows or the card pages, before the tables got super long when they were not the plan.

I will work on the template a bit during work at times till it is good.

The next small task Is I am going to create templates tomorrow morning for each of the badges and card types so you can easily drop in the images of Cart Types/Badges via template. So they are visual instead of words on card rows.

Expedition archives

I finally added some of the old expeditions. We're missing some stuff though, and I'm not sure where to find it. Specifically, we don't have the expedition stuff from the December 8, 2010 release, the February 2, 2011 release, and we're also missing the relic and mystery packs for the October 12, 2011 release. Icons for officer attributes

Is there any way you can grab/upload the officer icons? I mean the ones for race/role/bonus(attribute). I believe there are seventeen of them. If we can get them, I'd like to try and integrate them into the basic item template. Klaxxin (talk) 09:38, 9 August 2012 (MDT)

Looks like Zoy fixed the image problem. I need to clarify that the 20x20 png should be transparent. I said empty in the prior post. I need an invisible placeholder for formatting purposes. Klaxxin (talk) 18:54, 10 August 2012 (MDT)

yep it will be a transparent 20x20, and then you can scale to any size needed, I'm not at a computer right now, but ill be able to add in a couple of hours, also tracked down the data for the 10/11 expedition, but will need to crosscheck the details Lorak990 (talk) 01:57, 13 August 2012 (MDT)
