hello[edit]
welcome to the wiki. If I can be of help, let me know. - Zoycite
re: color[edit]
I believe the colors chosen are meant to match the colors in the game. Ask Lorak990 which to do, he knows the LoTS section better than anyone. Though If you need a particular color it could be added. I no longer play LoTS. Thanks - Zoycite
Colors used[edit]
Thought i'd add the list of colors that should be in use for linking categories with the LotS/ColorLink template, i'll check the other color template's later, as there are slightly different colors used.Lorak990 14:27, 23 July 2012 (CDT)

What about the colors used for linking other items? Say that I want to link a game item, using the color of the item to link. Also: where are these colors stored? Are they wiki defaults? If I had to take a guess, it looks like the Lots/ColorLink template uses wiki default colors, and the color associated with the Item template uses the custom colors that override the wiki defaults. Any way to make these match?

I think the shop items should stay white, but GS items should be linked yellow. Is there any way to force ColorLink to use the special definitions on the wiki? Using Colorlink these colors are wrong... Klaxxin 16:15, 23 July 2012 (CDT)
Yes the colors were default wiki colors with bypass using the Colorlink template which you can add any color hex code to, It looks like you already made the changes/extra color templates to override the default wiki colors by name, i agree on the white for credit items and yellow for GS purchases, ill make a couple of extra templates for current expeditions/expired and limited time items to use "LotS/Cexp", "LotS/Rexp", "LotS/Limited" later today Lorak990 14:50, 24 July 2012 (CDT)
- Added the 3 Templates, and updated the ships page items with expired/current/ still need to do limited and build a page for Expired Expeditions Lorak990 20:28, 24 July 2012 (CDT)

congrats on admin[edit]
I have made you wiki Administrator since you seem to be very active in the LotS section. Please ensure that email address is up to date in wiki preferences if other wiki admins need to contact you off wiki. We have an admin AIM chat, if you would like to join please email "zoywiki" on gmail.com. - Zoycite (talk)
- Thanks! I hope to have the entire LotS wiki cross-checked in a few months, and I have some other ideas for making the LotS wiki better. Klaxxin (talk) 12:53, 1 August 2012 (MDT)
moved articles[edit]
Please make sure to update the links on the LotS main page and the Sidebar, thanks MediaWiki:Sidebar. The naming is case sensitive so you may have inadvertently broken some other links as well. Zoycite (talk) 16:02, 3 August 2012 (MDT)
- Thanks for the heads up. I checked the "what links here," but I forgot the sidebar :). Klaxxin (talk) 16:03, 3 August 2012 (MDT)
thanks[edit]
Borrowed your item nav box for LoH section. Made my life a lot easier. Thanks. Zoycite (talk) 04:28, 7 August 2012 (MDT)
re sidebar[edit]
Sidebar is located at: MediaWiki:Sidebar. Also I can help on LotS templates. Just need to know what you are trying to do. Also try to add articles / tutorials to the Zoywiki page. Zoycite (talk) 09:23, 7 August 2012 (MDT)
Just Saying Hello/ RMI formatting[edit]
Hey Klaxxin, I know you're mod over a lot of the LotS stuff. Just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm probably going to totally rework a lot of the requirements listing for the Riddle Master Hunt stuff. I started a forum thread today to get some input from users about what they'd prefer to see, but I figured I would let you know personally as well.
- Are you intending for the labex and labex2 labels to be used on something like Deathmachine? It's technically a lab experiment component, but at the same time, it's also a stand alone item (crew). I went ahead and applied it to Deathmachine just as test look and see, but I kind of don't think it especially fits.
- Yeah, labex 2 makes Deathmachine look ugly. Lets use labex2 only on items that are "experiment items" or "collection items." I'll see if I can't think of something better for items that are part of lab experiments. Klaxxin (talk) 13:24, 8 August 2012 (MDT)
- For now, I've gone ahead and applied labex and labex 2 to every item involved in Riddle Master Hunt chains, both the hidden items and the thing being upgraded (when applicable). It still looks a little weird, but at the same time, the information is more accurate, so there's a tradeoff, I guess. If you want, I can revert the ones that are similar to Deathmachine, as mentioned, or we can leave it until there's an alternate solution. Which do you prefer? Also, I didn't see one, so I added a LotS/RaidLink template that automatically colors RaidLinks. Like Professor Squid or Guldax Quibberath (Currently doesn't handle Vince Vortex as a Galaxy Dome raid, but we can talk about that). Last thing, I think we can use varpulls to shorten the labex template to
{{LotS/Labex|dragoncycle}}
instead of{{LotS/Labex|dragoncycle|Dragon Cycle}}
. Anywhere we can avoid repeating text seems like a good idea to me.
- No quibble with any of your ideas. Vince should be colored Green, since it is an energy raid. I also support your use of varpulls to shorten labex, but I'll leave that to you. I'm not terribly sophisticated when it comes to CSS and wiki markup. I'm more focused on aesthetics and ease of use. Klaxxin (talk) 10:40, 11 August 2012 (MDT)

deleting old users[edit]
- Hey, I could use some help in deleting some old users. link here. If you can't access let me know. Just enter the user name and check the box leave the 2nd box blank. It will ask you to confirm. You can view user list here. Zoycite (talk) 10:08, 13 August 2012 (MDT)
- Unfortunately MediaWiki doesn't actually intend for users to be deleted. The merge and delete page is in fact an extension. I can generate a list of users though by date user mysql, ill post that somewhere. Zoycite (talk) 10:37, 13 August 2012 (MDT)
- I generated the following list of users which hadnt been touched by the wiki since 2012 from as far as I could tell: Zoywiki/OldUsers - Zoycite (talk) 10:53, 13 August 2012 (MDT)

- Out of curiosity, why are you interested in deleting the old users? Klaxxin (talk) 13:53, 13 August 2012 (MDT)
Re:LotS raid template[edit]
- I am a bit confused, the template looks to be functioning? What is the expected result? Do you mean the gap between the tables or the loot table borders are thicker? This looks to be going on with the CSS if it is the thicker border. The fix to combine the tables might be a bit trickier, but I would first put the table's CSS into the style tags, it should be all all or none thing here; that is either all style tags or all classes, dont use both. Also I would recommend not putting basic styles in the MediaWiki common files since it makes it harder to edit and gets cached, you and users may have to reload with ctrl+F5 and such to see the changes. - Zoycite (talk) 02:28, 16 August 2012 (MDT)
- Okay so I opened up firebug and examined to see what the issue is. It appears to be a CSS problem, but easily fixed. I took a screen shot so you can see. That the table which is the loot table is missing its style tags which remove the margin. The yellow area in the screen shot is the margin. The table code in html is highlighted blue.

raid templates[edit]
just so you know as you seem to be working on the raid templates, there are 3 in use right now LotS/raid-special (needs work), LotS/raid, LotS/raidalt and may need one more that only has 1 entry for the LotS/raids/general/The Murderer page unless raidalt hp entries are changed to ifexist entries, unknown if higher difficulties get unlocked as you complete them in missions.
