| 5. The Second Empress, known to history as the Black Dragon Empress, is something of a blemish on the empire's proud history. From her girlhood she was obsessed with fighting, weapons, and war -- and longed to lead her troops into battle as Daedun Qin had done. Soon after she ascended to the throne she began a conflict with the Niflungs which might well have proven disastrous. But she died in combat, allowing her more clearheaded brother to assume imperial power and make peace.
