Weekly Sale
- Tech Demon Vault Returns for Halloween, 1 week only.
- Each vault sells at a discount price of 15 GS each with a chance to obtain the Squeedlyspooch Legendary.
- Please note that the Tech Demon set has not been updated, since it is still a little stronger than existing Limited Offers.
Features
Zone 14
- Follow the adventures of Lu Bu in an all new Halloween themed zone.
- This zone marks the end of the mini-zone cycle, meaning there is an end-of-zone drop on NM difficulty (Officer Mega Chou), and a chance to craft the Witch's Broom legendary once you've obtained the appropriate ingredients.
- A fan favorite returns -- Natasha Cybersmash is now a craftable officer!
- Please note, the NM zone bug is an ongoing issue we are still trying to fix. Meanwhile, you will have to defeat the NM zone twice in order to get the first zone achievement.
New Alliance Boss: Haunted House
- A Haunted House ship whose crew are responsible for the abduction of children has been spotted in a system where you currently have significant combat resources. I request that you engage it, before it escapes. We were able to rescue the children, so you may fire at will and destroy the vessel if it refuses to surrender." -- Lu Bu
- This is a large, 100 person alliance raid.
- There is no cooldown for this raid.
- There are Gravestone ingredients in this raid which can be used to create the Ace of Spades Gravestone, which is then used to upgrade the Ace of Spades armor into the Super Space Slaughter set.
- It's classified as ship and mechanized class. Have fun!
Fixes and Changes
- Fixed the proc damage of upgraded Alice Sylana, Njal Thundersson and Vulcan, which were running off their old values.

Features
New Expeditions
- All new Halloween themed items are now available: be a psycho criminal with the Pumpking set, or go down a dark path with the Fallen Angel set.
- This are the first item sets in Suns that do damage against raid difficulties.
- Please note, Pumpkin Pie's secondary attack against Normal and Nightmare difficulties does not have a synergy bonus. However, her standard proc damage does have the synergy if Pumpking, Vanessa the Lamenter, and the Fallen Angel Judges are in the ship.
Limited Offers: The Zombie Set Continues
- This Limited Offer cycle features the Cemetery Ship, Rotting Robbie the officer, Cytheran Zombie crew, and the Zombie's Dog utility.
- The set continues the synergy, where it deals extra damage against Large, Epic and Colossal raids.
Alien Lair World Raid
- The Alien Lair makes its return to conclude the final phase of the Infestation series.
- Please note, there are still plans to summon the Infested Colony rare spawn before the world raid.
- The Alien Lair will be available on Monday, October 29 - time range of its availability that day will be sometime between the afternoon to evening GMT.
- Loot table, damage tiers and additional details for the world raid will be forthcoming.
Fixes and Changes
- The visual error for Zone 12 hard mode mission exp, and the incorrect credit output for Mission 2 nightmare has been fixed.
- Svana Spunbrancher's proc description has been corrected and should read the following: "Svana's Attack and Defense increase for each Melee crew in the ship."
- The glitch has been fixed when players sell the Psi-Hound and Murderous Rabbit utilities in the shop.
- Hotfix will be coming after the build which will fix the Male and Female Off-hand gloves for ranged weapons on the Fallen Angel Gloves.

Weekly Sale
- 50% off New Item Expedition Packs: This applies only to random buy purchases, while direct purchases thereafter will be at the regular price of 40 Suns each.
Features
Zone 13 - Saga of Drunken Ragnar
- Follow the tribulations of Ragnar in an all new mini-zone!
- The zone's breakdown follows the same template as past mini-zones, which contains 4 missions and 1 boss.
- There is no end of zone item since Zone 13 continues the mini-zone cycle.
- The cosplay winner, Sigune, is featured in this zone as a craftable officer: Svana Spunbracher.
- Svana Spunbracher shares has the same synergy type as Anita, Falyx and Gera Marl; her attack and defense increases for every active Melee crew in your ship.
- Please note that one of her craftable components, the Orange Word-Axe, is only available from the the Legendary and Nightmare versions of the zone 13 raid boss.
- Also note (and without too much spoilers) that the different names between the zone 13 raid essence and the raid boss' name is intentional.
Raid Rampage Event - Extended 1 More Week!
- The following raids still have their loot drops increased: Besalaad Warmaster, Nemo, Dule's Robot, Cybersmash, Agony and Ecstasy, Robotic Rautha 2.0, Terminus Deathsquad and Purple Lion.
- These raids in particular were chosen to assist players' progress through the later zones that have item requirements and therefor catch up to the recently released Zone 13, and for the upcoming Zone 14 later this month.
Fixes and Changes
- Completely removed Laser Fodder as a random drop from the Zone 3 mission boss loot tables; there was a very rare circumstance where a handful of players were able to get 2 versions of Laser Fodder. Those that have 2 Laser Fodders have had them removed, or will be removed soon. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!
- A hotfix will be incoming for the next 3 bugs:
- There is a visual bug that may affect some players where their officers show an experience deficit in the negatives (for example, a level 2 officer may show as level 1 but with -2000 exp); simply gain a few raid experience points to revert the officers back to their normal levels.
- Svana Spunbrancher also has a visual bug where her Attack/Defense synergy bonus does not count the initial melee crew added to the ship; There will be a hotfix for this as well.
- Biological Warfare does not work for the zone 13 raid boss at the moment.
- As stated, a hotfix will be coming to fix the 3 aforementioned bugs. Don't panic! Here's a towel.

New World Raid: Cerebral Destroyer
- Arms manufacturers are always keen to develop the latest innovative weaponry -- products which might earn them a bigger chunk of the interstellar slaughter market and let them rake in the credits. But these days it takes a lot to make the galaxy sit up and take notice. If an up-and-coming company wants to grab headlines and play with the big boys like Terminus and Kill-Tech, they have to bring out something impressive. Something big. Something crazy... Like a giant, genetically engineered brain with psychic powers, mounted on a ship for use in space combat. At least that's what one group of boffins came up with. However, the problem with crazy experiments is that they often have equally crazy consequences. In this case, the brain decided to assume control of the ship, blast the crew out of the airlocks, and take revenge on humanity for its creation. As usual, it's up to you to fix this mess before things get any worse...
- The Cerebral Destroyer will be available on Friday, September 21 - time range of his availability for that day will be sometime between the afternoon to evening GMT.
- To help alleviate the server stress and ultimately lag, we will be releasing the world raid sequentially between the three platforms instead of simultaneously.
- The order of the release will be Facebook, Kongregate and Armor Games.
- The release on each platform can be anywhere between 15-30 minutes apart, to ensure that our servers can handle all players across all 3 platforms.
- Stamina, Energy and Honor attacks are now available.
- It is a 3 day long raid, categorized as type Colossal, Psychic, Mechanized and Ship.
- The raid will drop Sian Tags on-hit, as well as a low chance to summon crew members who will lend you their Strength.
- Only 2 tactics will be available for this raid, feel free to collaborate together and decide on the tactics for all platforms before its release date.
- Poster of loot and damage tiers will be posted shortly.

- New Premium Officer - Ocean Mistress Synactha!
- The titles of "Ocean Master" and "Ocean Mistress" date back to the days when the Piscarians were a collection of pre-spaceflight civilizations. Due to their aquatic origins, it was akin to saying "Master / Mistress of the Universe" -- somewhat hyperbolic, but indicative of the great military power those individuals wielded. Though many of the species avoid using it today, considering it to be somewhat boastful and excessively grand, Synactha refuses to be called anything else. And given her impressive string of victories, in which she demonstrated both personal courage and tactical brilliance, the politicians to whom she answers are content to go along with it.
- Ocean Mistress Synactha is a powerful Piscarian officer who also has the "Any" Role and Attribute.
- She starts off with a base 80 Attack and Defense, and increases by +1 for each stat with every 2 different crew members owned.
- Proc damage increases for each different crew owned.
- Proc damage increases for every participant in a raid, cap at 500.
- New proc mechanic: proc RATE increases for every other officer in your ship.

Though many of the species avoid using it today, considering it to be somewhat boastful and excessively grand, Synactha refuses to be called anything else. And given her impressive string of victories, in which she demonstrated both personal courage and tactical brilliance, the politicians to whom she answers are content to go along with it.
- New Limited Offers
- This continues the Swordmaster set, which includes Officer Azim, the Omniscient Swordmaster crew, and the Swordmaster Starblade ship.
- The Swordmaster Starblade is another ship which will proc damage, and deals extra proc damage against Personal, Small and Medium sized raids.
- This part of the set also gains extra synergy with Officer Xenia Panoptes, who is still available for purchase at the Bazaar.
- In this regard, Xenia Panoptes' stats and proc damage have been increased. More specifically, she now has 48 Attack and Defense, and her base proc damage has been quadrupled.

- Galaxydome Ticket Sale: Get double the amount of tickets per purchase!
Features
- New Expeditions have arrived!
- The Manhunter Set: Powerful equipment that does extra damage against Human raids.
- The Grim Reaper Set: Currently has the highest proc rate of any existing armor with a chance to proc twice in a single hit; the utility, however, is slightly different, with the ability to proc damage, and a small chance to proc substantial extra damage.
- In terms of officer Gera Marl, do note that her bonuses to Attack and Defense function in the same way as Anita and Mr. Falyx does -- that is, for each intellect crew active in the ship, her Attack and Defense will raise respective to her level. So at level 1, she will get a +1 to **Attack and Defense for each Intellect crew, then +2 at level 2, and so on up until level 5.
- The officer Grim Reaper, however, receives a flat bonus rate to her Attack and Defense depending on which crew type you use, and this officer's level does not affect the rate of increase per Grim Girl and/or Reaper Bot active in the ship.
- Two new powerful ships accompany this expedition cycle, The Manhunter and The Reaper, both with unique procs that deal damage in raids.
- This expeditions features a story arc in the equipment lore. You can read the whole story in this thread.
- Galaxydome now features a monthly leaderboard crown.
- The Galaxydome tab has been grouped up with the other Leaderboard sections that reward crowns.
- The Galaxydome leaderboard tracks the weekly and monthly scores accrued by participants, and no longer tracks the points daily.
- The Galaxydome Crown has 300 attack and 300 defense, which also increases the player's Attack by +200 and gives a +10% of the player's base attack.
- The first Galaxydome Crown will be awarded next month to the top player of the month in this category.
Bug Fixes/Changes

- New Raid: Quiskerian Temple
- Francois Dupont, the UHW's secretary-general, was proud of himself when he arranged permission for human archaeologists to excavate Ciaxia. That world was one of the first colonized by the Quiskerians, and became their most important religious center -- home to many significant places of worship. And though the species was wiped out long ago, their territory annexed by the Huk-Kral, they've always been of interest to scholars due to their history with mankind. Hence the opportunity to study their ancient temples was too good to pass up. Now the archaeologists' ship is sending out a distress call. The last thing its crew heard before losing contact with them was screaming. What lurks in the temple they were exploring?
- This is a small type general raid with 25 slots for participants.
- You must craft the raid's essence in the lab page with the following ingredients: 1 Orange Starmap, 5 Purple Travel Journals, 10 Blue Energy Spheres.
- The raid's loot tables contains two new armor sets: Quiskerian Priest and Quiskerian Warrior sets.
- The Quiskerian Warrior set can be upgraded into the Quiskerian Invader set when combined with the Rylattuu Ultra-Power Doom Sphere in the lab.
- This is the first raid in Legacy of a Thousand Suns to have Fusion Crystals in its loot table, which are components needed to upgrade equipment in the Fusion Depot. Please see Fusion Depot in the next section of the patch notes for more information.
- Fusion Depot
- You now have the ability to strengthen the attack and defense stats of your equipment via the Fusion Depot!
- You will need to acquire and use Fusion Crystals for this process; these can be found in the Quiskerian Temple raid's loot table.
- The Fusion Depot can be found in the player's profile screen.
- When in the Fusion Depot screen, double-click on a weapon to load it into the Item slot; afterwards, select "Fusion Crystal" from the Slot drop-down menu and double-click on a colored Fusion Crystal.
- Once the slots have been loaded with their appropriate object, click on the "Fuse Item" button to enhance the attack and defense values of your equipment.
- There are a few things to take into consideration: one crystal is consumed in the process each time you fuse an item, fusion upgrades affect the entire stack of equipment, and you cannot upgrade utilities in the Fusion Depot.
- Each crystal has their own minimum/maximum bonus values that they'll give to an item's attack and defense, with higher crystal rarities producing greater results.
- You can craft an Orange Fusion Crystal using 1 of each colored Fusion Crystals -- Brown, Grey, Green, Blue and Purple.
- Fused items worn by your Galaxydome team will be taken into the Galaxydome power calculations.
- Fused items are not taken into Skirmish calculations for now; target to have them calculated is for next week's build, where there will be a new leaderboard standing for Skirmishes.
Bug Fixes
- Made adjustments to realigned items:
- Bubble Helmet: Now 11 Attack and 19 Defense.
- Slaughterhouse 10: Now 42 Attack and 38 Defense.
- The Hat's Gloves: Now 82 Attack and 81 Defense.
- Stealth Warrior Boots: Now 74 Attack and 79 Defense.
- Stealth Warrior Mask: Now 74 Attack and 79 Defense.
- However, Space Pirate and Security Armor pieces are at their correct values, since they're acquired from different parts of the game.
- Fixed exp given for Zone 9 mission "Holy War" NM to 78 exp instead of 75 exp.
- Fixed the proc damage of the Hyperspace Hero set against Organic Humanoid raids.

- Do note that since the Lightning Limited Offers are mini-set items, no future items will be made for it; however, this means the next cycle will feature a new, full Limited Offer item set.
- Winners who crafted the Lightning Fists legendary item first from their respective servers (CONAN of Facebook and Pinkie_Pie of Kongregate) are now featured on the lore of their Limited Offer items.
Bug Fixes

- New Alliance Boss - Celebration Enhancer J-54!
- Inhabitants of the Neo-American colonies don't feel it's a proper celebration unless they're waging war on the heavens by unleashing massive firework ordinance. But as they say, it's all fun and games until someone loses an arm. Or a head... This year one city decided to avoid packing the emergency rooms by having payloads of fireworks launched from a machine instead of by human hand. So the Celebration Enhancer J-54 was born. It was a good plan. However, when they fired the lead engineer for being drunk on the job, he took his revenge in the usual manner: by reprogramming it into a rampaging engine of death and destruction. Now it's up to you to bring it down, so the revelers can instead enjoy a slower and more pleasant death from fried food and cheap beer.
- This is a 250 seat alliance raid.
- After defeating this raid, there is a 1 hour cooldown timer before it can be summoned again.
- New raid features a set of firework ingredients; collect them to craft an Immolator Firework.

- Space Pox
- A new raid is upon us!
- It's bad enough when space pirates shoot the place up, kidnap people for ransom, and generally act like prats. But now a band of interstellar buccaneers are spreading around a disease they contracted in a backwater brothel. Someone needs to bring them down, before they can infect anyone else!
- The first Space Pox raids will be summoned by your friendly (by which we mean marginally less hate-filled) developers. The raid's data will appear on its loot table, thus allowing it to spread virally (virus... disease... clever, huh?).
- As with all raids, new loot will be up for grabs.
- This loot includes the Rylattu Ultra-Power Doom Sphere, a potent ingredient that can be used to upgrade items.
- For now you may use these to turn the Thugby set into the Thugby All-Star set. But more recipes will be released in the future.
- The loot table also includes Doom Sphere Segments, which may be collected and combined to create Doom Spheres. Think of it as being like buying a weapon of mass destruction on the installment plan.

- The workings of the New Item Pack have been improved.
- Proc and Effect revamp:
- Major behind the scenes changes have been conducted to the proc and effect systems. For those unfamiliar with the terms, note the special orange text abilities described on equipment and officers' tool-tips. When there's a triggered raid ability, such as a chance to cause bonus damage, that's a proc. When there's a static effect, such as a bonus to Stamina if the item is equipped, that's an effect.
- In theory you shouldn't notice any mechanical differences to procs when you play. At your end they should work exactly as they did before. But the changes will hopefully improve the game's performance.

- Happy Anniversary!
- Legacy of a Thousand Suns is now a year old. And whilst we're far too gluttonous to share our birthday cake with you people, that doesn't mean we haven't arranged other festivities in which you can take part (but seriously, don't touch the cake...).
- Dragon Cycle Treasure Hunt:
- For a year we've had players asking us to give them the motorbike from the game's loading screen. Well, in conjunction with our old friend the Riddle Master we've decided to do just that. Except that you may have to work for it. That's right - it's time for another treasure hunt!
- If you head to the Lab page, you'll see the recipe which crafts the Dragon Cycle. But if you want to obtain the six ingredients, you'll first have to break the codes and solve the riddles.
- Anniversary Bosses:
- Four new Alliance Raid bosses are now in the game.
- Three are based on the people and companies which have brought you LoTS.
- The fourth represents the four winners of our 'Who Wants to Be a Boss?' contest.
- As usual, shiny new loot items may be beaten out of the aforementioned bosses.
- Ingredients may also be wrested from their cold, dead hands - and used to craft fancy new armor in the Lab.
- Grab Bags:
- Four grab bags are available in the Shop, and may be purchased during the anniversary period.
- The Vending Machine contains Consumables. However, please note that its shoddy construction means that you'll receive a random Consumable each time - rather than the one you selected via the controls on the front of the machine. And don't try shaking it until the thing you wanted falls out, because it has automated defense systems.
- The Anniversary Bag contains a range of brand new anniversary items.
- The Commemorative Coin Slot Machine will give you a random Commemorative Coin each time.
- These coins may be used on the Lab page to obtain Felendis. Some of you may be familiar with this particular individual, and his strange propensities.
- Please note that Commemorative Coins may also be obtained when people complete your Mission Help requests during the anniversary period, and via Daily Rewards.
- The Sian Hero Footlocker will give you a random Sian Hero item each time (including the Sian Dragon Gun and Thunder Jian).
- Their stats have been improved in honor of the occasion. Those of you who already have one or more of these items will notice that the ones in your inventory have become more powerful in accordance with these new stat values.
- Orphan of Heaven:
- Every player who's logged into the game since October 1 has been given the Orphan of Heaven.
- To access it, simply select 'Sidekick' in your inventory's drop-down menu.
- For one week only, Golden Suns are being sold at a special discount.
- PvP Health:
- A special PvP Health Bar has been added to the game.
- If you sustain damage during PvP, either as the attacker or the defender, that will be deducted from this bar rather than your regular Health Bar.
- This means that players will no longer find themselves unexpectedly short on Health whilst battling Mission or Raid bosses.
- The PvP Health Bar matches your regular one in length, and will be refilled by any means through which your regular Health Bar is refilled.
- The Halloween items have been reclaimed by the darkness, and are no longer available for purchase. If you missed anything, you'll need a Tardis or DeLorean to obtain it.
