Like her ancient namesake, Athene bears a powerful aegis. Though in the case of TALOS' towering robot, an experimental advancement on their Shield Bots, the 'aegis' is a force-field dome designed to protect friendly targets in her vicinity. Her weapon of choice has also been adapted from that of the classical goddess -- an energy-bladed pike, for situations where offence rather than defense becomes the order of the day.
