When you fall in the rift where the Bridge is you get transported to the entrance BUT your are NOT able to loot the chest cause for the game your are still in the rift.
Answer: This is a bug in the game currently. Essentially to fix this issue type /rewind to be teleported to the last place the server thinks you are. -- Zoycite
