You may have to move around a bit or you will get the message you "You are not in the right place to use this item". Sometimes you can fail and get the message "You flail wildly and miss the craet completely. And you though being a farmer was easy!". On success you get the message "You successfully harvested a sprig of craet grain.". You do not receive any actual items despite the text, so just play farmville for 60 seconds.
