Slapping a person in the face with one's glove is the time-honored manner of challenging them to a duel. However, it may often prove inconvenient. For example, what if one's desired adversary is on the other side of the planet, or across space, and one simply doesn't have time to visit them in person? The Challenger's Glove was created for just such eventualities. It can fly across entire continents until it finds the target programmed into its memory banks, or else be put in a package and mailed to a target. In either case, once it makes visual contact it will deliver an appropriately hard slap -- along with a message containing the time, location, and rules of the proposed duel.
