When the six types of nanobot were placed in the confines of the same container, they began to collaborate and evolve. Together they fashioned this device around themselves, a complex piece of machinery which appears to be capable of creating more of the evolved nanobots. That level of autonomy makes you rather suspicious. But so far they seem content to aid you in battle, instead of multiplying beyond control and destroying the human race.
