This weapon doesn't really fire maple syrup. That would be both ridiculous and wasteful. Rather it launches a sticky, corrosive substance with a similar look and viscosity to that famed Canadian product. According to urban legend, its inventor perished when he mixed the bottles up whilst eating pancakes.
