As part of their experiments, they paid one group of expecting mothers to name their offspring in dubious ways -- whilst paying a second group to choose conventional names. To their delight, they discovered that children with names such as Cassandra Cryo were 43.9% more likely to become costumed avengers or lawbreakers. Both alliteration and meaning were cited as probable contributing factors.
