It only took a single battle against the metal monstrosity for Kulnar-Xex to relinquish their designs on the human world. After Gedrocht obliterated three of their cruisers, they decided that the tribute was no longer within their grasp. Zeygher van der Tagen landed on the planet as a hero. A few days later, he was named dictator in perpetuity.
