Whilst "a Sussurra in a gorilla costume" may sound like it belongs in the opening line of a joke, there's nothing funny about Bolo. Well, apart from the obvious fact that he looks like a big red ape. But once one gets past that, and to the part where he tears people's arms off, the humor falls rather flat.
