Since her graduation, Lucinda De La Cruz has continued to make Professor Helios proud. By night she battles corporate crooks alongside Bantam, Bookworm, and The Accelerant -- her fellow members of The Whom -- and blinds or blasts bad guys with her incredible sculpting skills. By day she acts as a beacon of another sort, by going into schools in Culverton's more deprived neighborhoods and inspiring children with her example, turning them away from the allure of gangs and criminality. She likes to say that a few wise words to a kid are better than waiting to punch the man he'll become.
