So he prepared an unconventional response. He scoured the world and located other men and women who likewise possessed superhuman abilities. Today it's believed that these individuals should all be classified as different forms of psychic, akin to contemporary pyrokineticists and the like. But at the time of the Quiskerian attack, the popular nomenclature was 'Emergent'. In any event, Zeroth gathered these Emergents into a team known as the Genesis Squadron, and led them on a mission against the alien ships.
