At one point, it split into two beams, one dismembering the guy's hand, then the other his entire forearm. "The Wildcat kept on talking as if the guy screaming on the floor next to her wasn't happening, then asked me what I thought about transition properties; I just smiled and nodded anxiously as a pair of Vlarg bouncers hauled him out by his limbs.
