A vile denizen of uninhabited lands. The Steel Whipworm has no equals when it comes to killing. Its flexible body passes unhindered through layers of sand and dust, and it is not bothered by the heat and the lack of water. The Steel Whipworm gets all it requires to survive from the corpses of humans and animals – life-sustaining liquids, and reserves of food. It is said that it does not abandon its prey when it is full, but lays its eggs in the gnawed remains of its victim. When they grow, these offspring become the next generation of hungry Whipworms – the lords of the desert.
