LotS/Patch Notes
Patch Notes: March 9, 2011
Features:
- Raid Page Tabs
- At the top of the list of Raids you can summon, you'll see a collection of tabs. These can be used to select Raids of a specific size, making it quicker to find the ones you wish to summon.
- Your selection options are as follows: All, Small, Medium, Large, Epic, Colossal.
- Your Colossal selection may be rather empty at the moment. We should address that soon...
- Grenades may now be purchased during Mission boss fights, for those who desire a little emergency help. It doesn't matter if you don't have a Belt slot free - buying one activates it immediately, inflicting damage on the boss.
- Four new Limited Items are available on the Home and Shop pages.

Patch Notes: February 23, 2011
Features:
Red Alert Links:
- Due to Facebook errors or technical issues, players have sometimes been unable to activate their Red Alert pop-ups. To limit the inconvenience this might cause, we've come up with a separate way to obtain the link to a Raid.
- To copy a Raid's link to your clipboard, simply hold down the shift key and left-click the Red Alert button. A pop-up will appear confirming that it's worked.
- The link may then be pasted on your Facebook page, or in the relevant part of our forum - wherever you usually seek help for your Raids.
- Four new Limited Items have been added to the Home and Shop pages.

Patch Notes: February 9, 2011
Features:
Alliance Permissions:
- Alliance Leaders may now promote or demote people in their Alliance to the following three ranks: Member, Soldier, Officer.
- Via the new Permissions button in the bottom left corner of the Alliance Options pop-up, each rank may be vested with certain powers at the Leader's discretion.
- For example, people of a certain rank may be allowed to remove Tactics from Alliance Raid bosses, or process applications to the Alliance.
- Four new Limited Items are now available for sale on the Home and Shop pages.
- he Rank 10 and 11 Galaxydome rewards (Hellfire Gun and Heroica) have been improved.

- Tool-tip labels have been added to the Gift Request buttons.

- When you access a player's Profile via the bar under the game, their Message Wall now loads correctly.

Patch Notes: January 26, 2011
Features:
New Alliance Bosses:

- Be warned: the Lurking Horror is an epic boss, and some Alliances may find him to be a challenge.
- Be warned (2): Mr. Justice tends to get angry, and you wouldn't like him when he's angry.
- New loot items accompany these bosses. Among them are M.1 C.H.U. and Anita, our contest winning officers.
- New recipes have been added to the Lab. You can combine your Archimedes Armor pieces with new ingredients dropped by these four bosses, and create the Archimedes Mark II Armor.
New Viral Buttons:
- The 'Invite Friends' button is now available in the Alliance Hall. It can be used to recruit comrades to your Alliance.

Patch Notes: January 19, 2011
Features:
Fleet Bar:
- A new bar has been added beneath the game window.
- Friends can be invited to the game and added to your Fleet here.
- You can also use it to send gifts.
Language Support:
- We know that many of our players speak something other than English as their native language. So, as a way to enhance your playing experience we're adding support for foreign languages.
- Spanish and Mandarin Chinese can now be selected in place of English, via the pull-down menu at the bottom right of the game window (just below the new Fleet Bar).
- If you're a high-school or university student learning one of those tongues, you can now improve your knowledge by playing LoTS - which I'm sure will be much more fun than reading tiresome textbooks or doing your homework.
- Note that not all of the text has been translated yet. This is an ongoing process, as our lowly interns toil by night and day at their Spanish and Chinese dictionaries.
- Gender changes are now available in the Special Services section of the Shop.

Patch Notes: December 15, 2010
Features:
Christmas Presents:
- Christmas continues to be celebrated in the far future, even in the furthest reaches of human space. So for a limited time Christmas presents are available in the game.
- There are six different presents: brown, grey, green, blue, purple, and orange.
- They may be obtained through gifting and Get Help requests, or purchased in the Shop.
- If you obtain a Christmas present, simply double-click it in your Inventory to open it.
- Presents might contain things you've seen before, or special festive items.
- Certain combinations of Holostockings from the Christmas presents can be traded in for prizes in the Lab.
- In honor of the holiday season, we've also halved the recharge times of everyone's attribute bars (Energy, Stamina, Honor, Health). * That means you'll now have even more resources to play with. These new timers will be in place for two weeks, so make the most of them!
- And if that's not enough of a demonstration of holiday spirit, for that two week period we're also giving bonus Golden Suns with each purchase!
Bragging:
- New bragging messages can now be posted on your Facebook walls. If you kill a Mission boss, loot a Raid boss, gain a level, obtain an Expedition item, or win a PvP encounter, you'll have the option of announcing this achievement on your wall. Delight your friends with tales of your exploits!
- They'll even gain Credits for clicking on them, so they too can revel in your victories.
- Speaking of friends, why not invite some of them to play Legacy of a Thousand Suns? Just click the new 'Invite Friends' link at the top right of the game window. Share the fun!
- Consumable items now show up in the main Inventory view.
- Four new Limited Edition Items are available on the Home and Shop pages.
- A random hash code is now attached to each Red Alert URL. This should prevent people from entering your Raids by guessing the URL.
- Note that this only applies to Raids started from today onwards. Your existing Raids will retain their current URLs.
- Please be aware that this security feature will not prevent people from joining your Raids if they have access to the Red Alert. Anyone who clicks on those, or receives the links from someone else, will still be able to enter them as normal.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug which meant that players were sometimes unable to re-enter a Raid they had closed.
- The Holographic Pants now display the correct attribute bonus.
- The Aspis should now appear in the Shop once you've unlocked Legions of Steel (Zone 2).
- Players should now find it much easier to obtain Permission Slip 3 (one of the components for the Antimatter Whip on the Lab page).
- If you obtain the Space Pirate Raiment from gifting, the correct picture will be displayed on the landing page.
