Hands of the Stranger
Penstroke: Chance for bonus damage; Extra damage against Normal Raids
V. I sat, and I stared at the stranger, and he starred out into the dark.

At last he turned away, and I could see he was troubled. His eyes scanned across me, stared throughme. Soon they seemed to focus, fixed on me, as though he was drawing back from a very great distance and into that moment. He regarded me calmly, he did not appear alarmed that I had staggered bleeding from the rain.

"This is a broken world," he muttered, "perhaps made by a broken man."

"What world?" I asked.

It did not occur to me to be surprised that I could understand him, or even that I could speak. But when the words came out they felt heavy and full of edges on my tongue.I knew them, but they where unfamiliar to me.

"An experiment," he replied, and reached out a hand to close his book.
