| To celebrate the anniversary of a classic monster movie, daikaiju fans asked the government of Japan if they could possibly bring giant alien creatures to Tokyo and stage an epic battle. The Japanese Prime Minister responded by having them beaten up by a ninja. Hence they adjusted their plans accordingly, and -- after a successful online fund raising campaign -- build an expendable replica of Tokyo instead.
These people paid good money to watch a monster battle and cheer on the resulting destruction. They weren't expecting to die in the process. Maybe that shows a lack of common sense and foresight. | |
