4th of First Seed 133 I could not be happier with my new job. I get my own room to practice my magic, a fresh human to feed on every other day, and the cultists let me torture the slaves whenever I want! All I have to do in return is craft Black Soul Gems. When I was learning Necromancy under my old master, I would have killed to get my hands on a dozen grand soul gems, now I get that many each week! When that Dragon told me I could either choose to be his slave or die, I didn't imagine being his slave would be so great!

2nd of Rain's Hand 133 The weekly shipments of Grand Soul Gems have doubled, I now get two dozen every week. I'm busy crafting Black Soul Gems all day during the Shade of the Revenant. It's tough work but I still have a whole 7 days off with absolutely nothing to do but enjoy my blood and wander around. This Mine is huge, and I'm still not sure weather to call it a Mine or a Cavern, the cultists just refer to it as 'Headquarters' I'm sure it goes much deeper than what I've seen but the dragon worshipers won't let me go past my office.

14 of Mid Year 133 I saw one of the mercenaries sneaking around downstairs yesterday. He must have eaten Venison regularly, because his blood was delicious.

25 of Suns' Dusk 133 I almost screamed when I walked into the storage room today. Dozens of black soul gems where missing, I ran to report the theft immediately, but the Dragon Priest said he had authorized the transaction and that they where currently being used 'In the Field' I told him that I would have liked to have been informed of this activity. After a long discussion he assured me that we would start keeping a written inventory and I would be put in charge of approving all future transactions.

17 of First Seed 134 I have been put in charge of a new project. The cultist leaders had a meeting with me to discuss it. Apparently we are building a massive storage chamber to hold dozens of dead slaves. I have been charged with embalming the bodies, maintaining the inventory of corpses, and (most interestingly) carefully wrapping each body with one filled black soul gem. The cultists weren't sure why their dragon master gave them these orders, because they are stupid and naive. Any Necromancer worth their weight in salt could see what was going on here. If the bodies are arranged correctly, (and according to the plans I saw they will be) one would only have to whisper the correct incantation and they would instantly have an undead army at their command. I guess the dragons are tired of relying on living mortals to compose their armies, and are counting on the undead for backup.

18th of Rain's Hand 134 This job is a vampires dream. Most of the bodies I get are fresh, and must be drained prior to the embalming process. We have a special drain for this, but I usually taste each one first. I've started saving the best blood in bottles. I got a virgin delivered the other day, and I had to beg the mercenaries for old mead bottles because I didn't want to loose a single drop of that girl's delicious juices.

8th of Second Seed 134 This job is a Necromancer's dream. A few years ago I was studying to one day perform this ritual on a single corpse, and now I get to do on hundreds of corpses. I was removing an old man's organs this morning when I started crying from happiness. I haven't cried since I was human.

4th of Suns Height 134 Today was a big day. It's been two years since I saw the great gold dragon in person. But today I finally got to see the mine's lower levels when the dragon priest brought me to his master's underground lair. The Dragon described an arcane enchantment he wanted to perform. I recognized the spell from his description, one that allows a person to come back to life after death. I had to choose my words carefully, for I feared he would not like what I had to say. One breath of fire from him and my bloodthirsty ass would be a charred skeever. I explained that the spell typically requires two filled black soul gems, it costs two souls to bring one back, but that these are typically mortal souls. I had never heard of someone trapping a dragon's soul in a gem. The dragon's laugh surprised me. He barked some orders and his servants brought forth a female Nord naked in chains. "This Woman", my master said, "Has killed two dragons". I almost choked. Who ever heard of a mortal, let alone a female, killing an immortal dragon? As if reading my mind he explained, "This is only possible because this mortal is special, she can absorb the essense of dragons. You soul trap this woman and you will have TWO dragon souls in one gem". The dragon priest, apparently wanting to sound important, said "Master Yuvon has spoken! What do you have to say in response?" I wryly smiled at the great beast, cast the spell, and plunged my dagger into that female's heart. I smelled the blood instantly, it filled my nostrils and made me hunger; I sank my teeth into her neck and tasted power. I felt a warm glow. This females blood was magical; I could feel it as it coursed through my body, opening my mind to the true nature of magicka and the fabric of reality. The crack of her soul leaving her body brought me back to my senses, the purple vortex swirled to the black soul gem in my hand which proceeded to glow with energy. I wiped my mouth and looked at the dragon who was very pleased. While he was in a good mood, I had to give him the bad news. I explained that the person who is to cheat death must sacrifice a bone, therefore the traditional approach is to just amputate a limb, typically something small like a toe or a finger. The great wurm paused for just a moment and then without flinching he impaled his own scales, wrapped his claw around a rib, cracked it off, pulled it out, and dropped it right in front of me. I really felt like the two of us bonded in that moment. I may have referred to him as 'the master' in the past, but now I feel like calling him 'my master'.
