Chase Gear

These items drop in the group mission Fight Fire.

You will want to acquire one or more of these and evolve them into their final forms so that you can utilize as many of the below augments as possible. The chase items may not look like much, but once they are fully evolved they are stronger than the best raid gear items and once full augmented over 10k HP/Mana/Endurance. There are six levels for each item, with special achievement requirements to unlock levels 2 and 6.

How to Evolve

Per the game update notes from April 17, 2019: "Removed the race specific restrictions on evolving items obtained from The Burning Lands. These evolving items will now gain experience from any experience-giving NPCs slain in The Burning Lands zones and Gnome Memorial Mountain." The previous statement about elementals only giving XP is now out of date and incorrect (and thus removed). XP is gained so long as the mob is at least light blue to con. Per the February 20, 1029 update notes, wearing multiple items does not split XP between them - each gains full XP independently.

Notes from Ngreth, designer of the items on XP gain: "As I said, the EXP is only affected by con of the mob and size of group. No setting on an individual NPC will change the amount of EXP an evolving item gets except the NPC level (which affects the con of the NPC :) ) But once it's "red" it doesn't matter how red. If it's 3 levels above you or 50 levels above, It's the same EXP."

The following table outlines the "level 2 unlock" requirements only. Basically, you can gain XP through level 1 until maxed (100%) and the item will wait for you to convert it to the next level (a new item). If you do not meet the below requirement per item, you will get a message saying so. If you meet the requirement, a new item is created with increased stats.

Raid Rare Drops

These are dropped by trash in raid instances for The Plane of Smoke, Esianti: Palace of the Winds, or Doomfire, the Burning Lands (TBL)

Slot 22 (Luck Slot)

This item is the luck aug. It maxes out at 10 fuses. You always get a luck 1 version and have to fuse it up.
