To celebrate the anniversary of a classic monster movie, daikaiju fans asked the government of Japan if they could possibly bring giant alien creatures to Tokyo and stage an epic battle. The Japanese Prime Minister responded by having them beaten up by a ninja. Hence they adjusted their plans accordingly, and -- after a successful online fund raising campaign -- build an expendable replica of Tokyo instead.
