There is a place I have stumbled across where the light is shifting and dangerous, and follows no rules I have previously encountered. It is hostile, alive, and burrows through the mind and throws shadows and madness. I shaped the Multifaceted Gaze from the crystalline bones of that realm, and without the filter the Gaze provided I may have found my grave there in that terrible light. The Book shows that MadDogFargo may be on a course that will strand him there, alone with the light, and I do not know if he will survive it. I left the Gaze in his path.
