Regardless of the potential power and wealth which might have been obtained from manufacturing such unusual weaponry, mounting a giant, lab-grown psionic brain on a spaceship was a dubious proposition at best. If there was any debate on the wisdom of such an endeavor, it's now silent -- after the brain took control of the ship, jettisoned the crew into the void, and embarked on a rampage against the species responsible for its birth. Even the lunatic brain seemed to recognize the outrageous folly of its existence... But in spite of that, the Cerebral Destroyer's quirky look was rather appealing.
