For this and your next turn, Martial Attack deals double damage.
On deplete, shuffle 3 copies of Close to the Chest into your deck.
Experimental science is a matter of trial and error. One might experience hundreds of setbacks before achieving success, or else never achieve it at all. Dr. Tessera was successful in the end (though admittedly most people might suggest that becoming a part-human, part-bestial creature is less of a success than a crime against both God and man), but on the way she experienced her fair share of undesired outcomes to her experiments. The Three Harmonies were the most spectacular.
Tessera selected three human test subjects -- a hulking bruiser, a cunning thief, and an agile gymnast -- whose DNA she hoped to combine into a single person with the best elements of all their genetic material. The actual result was somewhat different: three human heads as part of one powerful, grotesque body.
She deemed the experiment a failure. But as failures went, The Three Harmonies -- as she mockingly called them -- did rather well for themselves. They rose to power in the triad underworld, carving out a criminal empire. And they became the owners of an illegal fighting promotion.
