This task starts with Grieving Soul Scent in Stratos: Zephyr's Flight not far from the zone in at /loc +163, +147, +52. 

You say, 'Hail, Grieving Soul Scent' 

Grieving Soul Scent says, 'Ah, good, you are here, Darkdoc. There is no time to waste. War between the elemental planes is [dangerous] and foolish, and you need to stop it as soon as [you] can.' 

You say, 'dangerous' 

Grieving Soul Scent says, 'Conflict between the elemental planes causes changes. The elements themselves war and merge, separating from their primal plane and becoming their own sort of sub-plane. During the first wars they lost so much to Smoke that they were forced to stop. We were created to keep the peace after that war, and now we are warring ourselves!' 

You say, 'you' 

Grieving Soul Scent says, 'I can't get involved, I do not have the proper permission. I have to leave that for you do [deal with].' 

You say, 'deal with' 

You have been assigned the task 'Soldier of Air'. 

Grieving Soul Scent says, 'You agreed to help defeat the Efreeti forces that are invading Stratos, or you would not be here. Please attend to that task.'
