|text=3. After astrophysics thwarted their Saturnian stadium idea, Saturn Breweries' executives instead decided to hold the tournament on a number of different worlds. They selected planets capable of providing their own arenas -- to avoid further construction expenses -- and where they believed an advertising blitz could help them carve out a much larger market share.

Rival brewers would later claim that the company sabotaged their operations on these worlds, through such measures as vandalism, murder, and the dumping of toxic waste in beer vats. Saturn Breweries has always declined to comment on these allegations with anything other than maniacal laughter and obscene gestures.
