|text=6. The pod activated its disruption plating and fuzzed through the freighter's shields like hot lead through a sheet of ice. Diala had time to run full diagnostics on her connection as the pod clamped into the hangar doors and melted out her entry. Her shells ejected into the hangar and she toggled her consciousness into the first one as the freighter's alarms echoed through her head.


She raised her shell's arms to sight down the bolt rifle at the entrance to the corridor that would take her out of the cavernous cargo area and queued four of the reserve shells to pace her. The drone she was piloting took the lead. She was the ghost at the heart of a hulking metal engine of death, and she was totally at home.
