|text=2. The mission was of existential significance to the Quiskerians, over whom the threat of genocide loomed. So perhaps it's understandable that it was imbued with religious importance as well. Prophets belonging to one of their most prominent sects began to preach that their species had been born in the Sol System, that it was theirs by right. It's unclear whether this represented a genuine belief that helped determine the ships' destination, or whether it was fabricated to justify that destination and inspire the populace. Needless to say, when this information came to light -- during the exploration of Ciaxia's temples -- it set the academic universe abuzz.
