|text=4. The aliens are believed to have been a migrant flotilla from a ruined world, since there are cursory mentions of such a people in the ancient accounts of nearby species. It's speculated that they saw Rak-Thun Prime as a planet both capable of sustaining life and devoid of any intelligent beings. Indeed, those who've encountered a Huk-Kral might well imagine them being mistaken for wild beasts. Though others suggest that the visitors may have recognized an intelligent but technologically unadvanced race, and thought them vulnerable to conquest and subjugation. A human scholar did propose a theory that these mysterious aliens kept the Huk-Kral in bondage, as beasts of labor, for many generations. But his work was removed from sale after excrement containing a significant portion of the author's body mass and DNA was delivered to his publisher's offices.
