Others only care about killing their prey, and will use any technological means at their disposal to ensure success -- even if that means launching a missile from orbit, as occurred in one particularly notable incident. The weapon missed the rabbit it was aimed at, and blew up a nearby hospital instead.

Local authorities were surprisingly understanding about this error. Whilst it did dramatically increase their medical mortality rates, it also earned them a larger chunk of planetary healthcare spending. They regarded this as a decent tradeoff for the amount of additional paperwork the event brought about.
