But his work began to take shape. After countless failed experiments, year after year of trial and error, he was getting close. But he couldn't wait any longer. Creating and testing one prototype at a time was taking too long! He had to have his Dimetrodon! So Jeff produced an entire batch. Surely *one* of them would be the glorious green object of his affection!

He set the machines in motion, and waited with bated breath for the growing tanks to open. When they did, he ran towards them and called out.

"Dimetrodon love?"

"No..." the nearest muscular humanoid said. "Dimetrodon fight!"

Jeff sprawled on the floor in a puddle of blood and teeth, while the Dimetrodons stormed out of his laboratory.
