The mercenary Retta Kole is one of the dreamers that have found their way into the House of Thule. While a skilled warrior and fearless on the battlefield, she has a paralyzing fear of deep water. Barely escaping the nayats in the well, and trapped in a cavern she can't seem to escape, she asks for help in eliminating the nayats so she can escape her living nightmare. Once she clears the water, she'll deal with the rest of her opponents as she was meant to fight: on solid ground.
