You say, 'Hail, Twereus Ulithain' 

Twereus Ulithain says 'You have come! Have you brought the [Staff] I gave you?' 

You say, 'I have the staff' 

Twereus Ulithain says 'Perfect. There is still time. I can tell you more of what I know, though it isn't much. Know that this place is a kind of trap for gods. I don't know the true nature of this place, but you must be aware by now that Cazic-Thule has been defeated, or perhaps permanently destroyed, elsewhere within the confines of this... planar cloister. Whatever this place really is, it seems to be a place where [gods] can be destroyed, and their defining essences stolen by other gods.' 

You say, 'How can gods be destroyed?' 

Twereus Ulithain says 'There is much I do not know, but I do know that the permanent destruction of a god should not be possible. The fact that a god's very essence could be [stolen] here, says a great deal about the dangers of this place.' 

You say, 'Stolen?' 

Twereus Ulithain says 'I will say that my interest in Morell-Thule has led me to try and follow him and to learn what he is up to since Cazic Thule was killed. It is clear that he has changed. When Cazic Thule was defeated, his godlike essences were ripped from him and some of these were apparently absorbed by Morell. Thus, I sent you on the quest to build the Staff of Arcane Dispossession. If it is true that Morell has absorbed the godlike power of his father Cazic, then he has become too [powerful] to coexist with the rest of the pantheon.' 

You say, 'Too powerful?' 

Twereus Ulithain says 'This additional essence he has collected in the aftermath of the death of Cazic Thule will have to be stripped from Morell, probably by force, before it becomes too late. If Morell escapes from this place with such enhanced [powers], it could mean devastating shifts in the alignment of certain Planes, and possibly a war between the gods of the pantheon. A war that may well signal the end of life as we know it, on Norrath and elsewhere in the universe.' 

You say, 'What do we do about these powers?' 

Twereus Ulithain says 'Thus our course of [action] is clear, just as it must be clear to you that we are not going to destroy Morell, but merely weaken him so that the Staff can divest him of the essence he has absorbed, before it merges with his energy completely and irrevocably.' 

You say, 'What's our course of action?' 

Without pre-requisites: 

Twereus Ulithain says 'I'm sorry, friend. You are not yet ready for the final confrontation with Morell Thule. First you must do more to understand the inner workings of the Sanctum Somnium before I risk bringing you face to face with the god of dreams.' 

With pre-requisites: 

Twereus Ulithain says 'When you are ready, I will [lead] you to the gazebo where Morell has confined himself. Before we go, make certain you have the Staff of Arcane Dispossession. It is the only thing that may transform him back into his original state.' 

You have been assigned the task 'Morell Ascendant'. 

Absorbing the power of Cazic Thule has left the god of dreams in an unstable state. Stirring with power and corruption, Morell Thule is on the brink of madness and must be stopped. 

Say "lead" to zone into the instance. 

You say, 'Lead the way...' 

Twereus Ulithain says 'Let's not waste anymore time. I'll show you the way.'

Confront Morell Thule, God of Dreams 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium) 

Defeat the dreams surrounding Morell Thule 0/6 (Sanctum Somnium) 

Speak to Morell Thule, God of Dreams 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium) 

Defeat Morell Thule, God of Dreams 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium) 

Fight him until about 45% at which point he despawns. 

Defeat many of Morell Thule's minions 0/8 (Sanctum Somnium) 

Kill the trash that spawns. 

NOTE: The task locks after you complete this step. 

Defeat Morell Thule, God of Dreams 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium) 

There will be an emote to click your staff, possibly around 10% health. If you don't do this, he'll start death touching. 

Use the Staff of Arcane Dispossession on Morell Thule 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium) 

Observe the strange occurrences at the gazebo 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium) 

Speak to Morell Thule once he is well again 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium)
