<span style="color:gold">'''Premiums'''</span> are the most powerful items in the game.  They are initially offered for sale on the front page for 150 GS for two weeks.  After that they are only available as 1% jackpot items in the Mystery Pack or Vaults.  For players with the best ships, these Premiums typically make up more than 60% of their ship power (e.g. 19k power out of 31k total ship power).  Additionally, their proc damage and mimic damage often contribute more than 50% of damage dealt. The AV of a premium ranges from 2k up to more than 9k (total of 43,500 AV for the first 9 premiums released). An item from a vault or New Item Pack will quickly become outdated due to power creep, but a premium's power is continually increased by acquiring more items within the game. To acquire an old premium at a 1% chance in a pack will typically cost about 3,500 Gold Suns, or approximately US$ 300.
