The cartographer Dahlmar Raltend is trapped in the nightmarish Well and faced with his worst fears. Due to a childhood traumatic incident, he fears quicksand and anything resembling it, and is terrified having ended up in the mud pit in the Well. He asks adventurers to help him escape by destroying the mud creatures in his path.
