wiki utilities

I have written fairly complicated parsers that can do quite a bit of the work for you in regards to parsing items from a website. If you are going to be serious about working on the Jugg wiki more regularly I can try to devote some time to getting the parsers updated for newer Jugg content that the wiki does not have yet.

We currently have such parsers for some XML data for other games.

I have spent some free time rewriting the jugg item parser. It should be finished in a week or two. It is about 40% complete now.

Will be nice to get an update of items into the wiki. Especially since a lot of item pages are out dated or contain missing or poorly parsed info.

I was wondering can u create a table that the rows and header be rename?

Uname (talk)17:33, 20 August 2013

Zoycite (talk)09:24, 21 August 2013

thanks again!

Thanks again for helping keep the wiki up to date. I see you have started playing SNP2.

I love the Swords and Potions franchise. There are a number of parsers in the works, check the SNP2 TODO page for more info as far as the progress on parsers and where pages are going and doing things. Feel free to add things to the list as well.

Also there is an AIM chat (AIM= AOL Instant messenger) you might want to join where I can be contacted directly outside of the wiki almost 24/7. Just email me your screen name there and I will make sure you are in it.

Oh yeah you might find this page of interest for some of the building improvements

Also the Page SNP2/buildings/base/Volcano has an example of how to use.

Thank you for your contribution to the wiki about the Ogre Amulet.

Please try to prefix your pages with the correct prefix. For Juggernaut this is Jugg/

This helps us keep our pages clean and consistent and utilize all the wiki features, templates, and extensions properly. Pages however are allowed outside this convention but should be reserved for things which we can all share and collaborate on. There is a lot of powerful framework in the wiki as you seem to have found the Jugg item template.

If you need any assistance please contact me on my talk page.

  1. I welcome the intrusion.
  2. I am here to help and friendly enough, if you need anything just ask. I started out as a noob too.
  3. Please ask any quesitons you might have and I will try to answer them.

Most everything is not documented on the Jugg wiki. However we do use a pretty easy to use templates for most articles. It is a good place to start. Just click edit in the upper right of the page to see the current article source code. Just using already existing templates you can go pretty far and do a lot of cool things. Once you figure those out everything else is pretty easy :)

A template is something that looks like this

|name=Item name

Ok lets start with the part of ogre amulet, i have link the picture but its still not available? why not you tell me the process from uploading to linking pictures.

Uname (talk)13:39, 6 June 2013
  1. Create new item Article such as Jugg/Part_Of_Ogre_Amulet
  2. Acquire Image
  3. Once you have the image navigate to the item Page. Jugg/Part_Of_Ogre_Amulet.
  4. Click the Orange link that reads Jugg/Part Of Ogre Amulet
  5. Follow upload image dialogs on wiki.

I have gone through and tracked down the specific link to upload the image:

If my process has been misunderstood let me know, and I can take a screen shot for you to point anything out that you need.
