Thanks for starting on the crafting item pages -- I was just thinking that it would be a great idea to create these. I do have one suggestion: rather than creating pages for Brown Brick, Grey Brick, etc., I think it would probably be simpler to just make a single Brick page and then have all of the different colors just link to that one page. This would require a bit of tinkering with the CraftingRow and CraftingLink templates, but it seems like it would save a lot of unnecessary duplication.
Hey no prob, I should be the one thanking you for all the job you've done here. You're absolutely right about the page. Dunno why I didn't think about it...
By the way, I'm not familiar yet with wiki code. Is there a sandbox or something that I could use to try modifications on templates without disturbing the real templates ?
What I do when I need to do that is just copy the template into a Test version such as
When you are done / happy with it just copy it into the real version.
Ah, sorry, I thought you had already figured it out from your previous edits. Well, it looks like you've got things working now (I made a couple of minor adjustments), but if you have any specific questions please feel free to ask.
It took me a while to figure out how to make this thing work. I think I should have used varpull, now that I understand what it does. But it works, and it'll do because it's late ;) I didn't see your adjustments though, I hope I did not erase it.
this thread is getting kind of long and hard to follow, please reply to main topic or start a new thread.
no need to apologize Mandal. We all work hard and all like the games we play enough to help others by doing wikis, and most of us have jobs too. This wiki is a project of free time and love for games. You are doing great.
Hey Mandal (putting this at the end to avoid clutter),
Yeah, I agree that the solution you've decided on will work and is nice and simple, so I'm all for it. I'm not sure why you were getting extra rows using what I suggested -- it shouldn't include the rows for recipes that don't exist at all. Oh well, we can worry about that later if it comes up again.
Well, this is how I see it : each line of "if" has a new line character, so the last row displayed will herit of all the empty if and their new lines.
I tried to put all on one line with
inside the if (when true) but it didn't work, and it was real dirty anyway.
